Most people rely on others in some form or another. Most families rely on one another for support, love, financial help and other important aspects of their lives. Because of the importance of this support, it can be devastating in many ways for a family to suddenly lose a loved one in a fatal accident.

One family in Colorado may be trying to handle their devastation after a recent incident claimed the life of one person. According to reports, a woman had been involved in a car accident and was attempting to speak with the other driver involved. However, in order to reach the other driver, she had to cross the road on foot. While attempting to do so, she was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The vehicle that hit the woman did not stop at the scene, and the driver did not return. Authorities were on the lookout for a black sedan, and they later located the vehicle. The woman who was hit by the vehicle suffered fatal injuries as a result. There was no information available about the driver of the vehicle that hit her.

The family of the woman killed in this Colorado incident are undoubtedly shocked and saddened by the turn of events. They may face a number of hardships as a result of her passing and will likely wonder what to do. Because this fatal accident was caused by another person, they may have cause to file a wrongful death claim against the driver in efforts to seek compensation for damages resulting from the incident.
